Dial is seeking a Cook to independently prepare meals for residents in a senior living community. You will support the chef and ensure high-quality food and safety standards are met daily.

Responsibilities include preparing diverse meals, adapting recipes for dietary needs, presenting dishes attractively, and maintaining a clean kitchen while coordinating with the supervisor for supplies and menu planning.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents with attention to quality and presentation.
• Alter recipes to accommodate residents' dining needs.
• Ensure attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving.
• Identify ingredients and supplies for upcoming menus and report to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage.
• Record temperature checks for food storage and equipment as required.
