Hearthstone, located in the heart of Pella, Iowa, is a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living seeking a compassionate Cook to support residents' daily meals. You will prepare hot and cold dishes, follow chef-approved recipes, and collaborate with our culinary leadership in a professional kitchen.

This role offers full-time and part-time schedules, scholarships and tuition support, wellness benefits, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cooking experience.
• Experience with quantity cooking and modified diet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create delicious meals daily using chef-approved recipes.
• Collaborate with Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
• Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans for residents.
• Monitor food quality, manage portions, and ensure service standards of the dining experience.
• Follow sanitation and waste control practices to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
