Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Cook to join our dining services team. You will prepare meals according to standardized recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment.

You’ll support dishwashing and dining service as needed, record production quantities and safety temperatures, and lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator to create a joyful, resident-focused dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
