Job summary

Brookdale in Austin, TX seeks a proven leader to manage day-to-day operations of a senior living community with 60–65 units (or up to 175 units with two product lines). You will direct resident services, budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality experiences and care.

You will partner with sales to drive occupancy, oversee team development, and maintain strong ties with residents, families, and the district team to grow revenue and ensure exceptional community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of three years related in operational leadership experience.
• Must have a valid administrator license where required. Driver’s license and private vehicle may be needed.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; demonstrated leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a larger senior living community (60–65 units or 65–175 units with up to two product lines).
• Develop and execute annual operating and capital budgets; monitor performance against goals and regulatory standards.
• Foster an inclusive culture, empower department leaders, and ensure staffing aligns with resident needs and legal requirements.
• Drive sales and marketing efforts with the community sales leader to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and local stakeholders; oversee care and services coordination.
• Oversee maintenance, compliance, and quality assurance; ensure policy adherence and licensing requirements.
• Recruit, hire, and develop high-quality associates; monitor retention and performance trends.
