Deer Crest Senior Living in Red Wing, MN is seeking a casual kitchen role focused on safe food preparation, proper portioning, and adherence to IDDSI texturized diets. You will help assemble meals, support special events, and maintain a clean work area.

The position may involve supervising kitchen activities in the supervisor’s absence, and requires good communication with residents and teammates. Benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Competenze

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Food Handler certification issued by ANAB-CFP accredited program within 90 days.
• 0–1 year kitchen/food service experience.

Mansioni

• Prepare and cook food items to specified temperatures and follow recipes for portioning.
• Assemble meals and bakery items within designated time frames and assist with special events.
• Work with texturized IDDSI diets and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work environment per schedules and safety guidelines.
• Assist in supervising kitchen staff and communicating resident/guest feedback.
