Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, is hiring Care Giver/Med Tech for our Wisconsin community. The role involves providing hands-on care and support in a safe, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, assisting with daily activities, and administering medications under supervision while documenting changes. We are committed to dignified, independent living and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred; First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated group of residents during the shift; check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions of residents for changes.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident areas.
• Serve and collect food trays; report refusals or loss of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Greet and assist residents, family members, guests, vendors and team members.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
