Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Solivita Marketplace in Kissimmee, FL is seeking compassionate Caregivers for the 11:00pm–7:00am shift to support residents in a welcoming community. You will assist with daily living activities and ensure a respectful, dignified atmosphere.

The role requires CNA certification or equivalent caregiver experience, with CPR/First Aid within 30 days. Merrill Gardens offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Education

CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
