Merrill Gardens invites applications for Caregivers to support residents at Truewood by Merrill in Boise. We emphasize dignity, individuality and a caring, family-driven workplace with growth opportunities.

Caregivers assist with activities of daily living, medication management as allowed by state rules, and daily progress reporting. Training, certifications, and CPR/First Aid readiness are required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state, and completing daily progress reports of services provided.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
