Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Care/Medication Technician for our Hendersonville community. The role provides hands-on care, emotional support, and a safe, home-like environment for residents, including medication assistance and daily living activities.

The position emphasizes compassionate care for seniors, adherence to service plans, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with nurses and coordinators to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver duties for a designated group of residents during the shift, including checking on them and assisting with daily activities.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions for changes in condition.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly and notify supervisor if higher care is needed.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Serve meals, monitor intake, and report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; promote dignity and safety.
• Engage residents in activities of daily living and life enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist all internal and external customers and visitors.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
