Job summary

Cherry Springs Village in North Carolina seeks an experienced Resident Care Coordinator to support resident health and well-being by coordinating care services and managing care plans. You will collaborate with the Executive Director, nursing staff, and care teams to promote a safe, person-centered environment.

The role involves developing ISPs, supervising caregiving staff, engaging residents and families, and ensuring regulatory compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Active LPN or RN license preferred (depending on state requirements).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior living, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care Plan Development & Management: Assess residents' needs and develop ISPs with clinical staff, residents, and families.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Lead caregiving staff and support scheduling for adequate staffing levels.
• Resident & Family Engagement: Be the primary contact for care-related concerns and communicate updates compassionately.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulations and conduct audits to maintain high standards.
• Collaboration: Work with nursing, physicians, therapists, and leadership to coordinate services.
