Oxford Senior Living seeks a Resident Care Director (LPN or RN) in Wahoo, NE to provide overall leadership of resident health care services and to guide a team of Care Supervisors and Caregivers. The role focuses on developing care plans, coordinating hiring and scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will act as the primary liaison for residents, families, and external providers, promoting high-quality care and a homelike environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Board certified Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Experience in senior living
• Three (3) years of nursing experience in a leadership role within long term care
• Previous nursing experience in memory care

Responsabilités

• Provide overall leadership and health care services for residents, including development and implementation of health services plans for each resident and directs the work of Care Team Supervisors and Caregivers.
• Coordinate the selection and hiring of Care Team Supervisors and Caregivers
• Develop and manage the scheduling for the Care Team Supervisor and Caregivers
• Direct and monitor the work of Caregivers, i.e., nursing assistants and medication aides, in the community
• Conduct training as assigned and mandated by regulatory requirements
• Function as the primary point of contact regarding resident health care and/or services, proactively communicating with all stakeholders any change in resident condition
• Meet with current and prospective families to communicate the provision of health care services in the community
• Promote the scope of services provided within the community to external medical providers
