Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Resident Care Coordinator to bridge residents, families, and the care team, ensuring a supportive, safe living environment. You will assist the Health and Wellness Director with scheduling, supervision, and quality-assured systems across resident care areas, including medication administration and direct care as needed.

• Two years of experience administering medications and providing care.
• At least one year of supervisory experience, including staff scheduling.
• Excellent attention to detail and high integrity.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and respect for residents.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign caregiving and medication technician shifts to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with staffing guidelines and department allowances.
• Participate in the recruitment and interview process for new care team members.
• Supervise, train, and support care team members, promoting teamwork and adherence to care standards.
• Supervise the medication room and orders, collaborating with medication technicians and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including care plans, incident reports, and medical documentation.
• Coordinate care planning with home health agencies on-site, working within community and company policies.
• Coordinate admissions with the sales team, including supervising move-ins.
• Complete family/resident admission interviews.
• Facilitate effective communication among residents, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Address residents’ special needs, requests, and complaints.
• Assist with medication administration and provide direct care to residents as needed.
• Understand the community's care regulations, as well as state-specific regulations.
