Job summary

Galleria Woods Senior Living in Hoover, AL is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Assistant for full-time or part-time shifts. You will support residents with daily living activities and help create a friendly, safe, and compassionate environment.

The role requires a current Alabama CNA certification, CPR and First Aid, plus at least one year of caregiving experience. Daily Pay and career growth opportunities are available to dedicated team members.

Qualifications

• One year or more of experience as a CNA, Resident Care Assistant, or in a related caregiving role.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Genuine passion for working with older adults.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Supporting residents with mobility and transfers according to individualized service plans.
• Escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the community.
• Serving meals in the dining room or resident apartments.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical condition, eating habits, or behavior.
• Promoting a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
• Providing services in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
