Job summary

Oakwood Village is seeking a Construction & Project Manager to plan, manage, and oversee capital improvements, renovations, and campus infrastructure across the Madison University Woods campus. You will ensure projects finish safely, on schedule, within budget, and with minimal disruption to residents and staff.

As the primary liaison among leadership, residents, contractors, architects, engineers, and regulators, you will guide project development from concept to occupancy, manage budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Five or more years of experience managing construction, renovation, or capital projects.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or occupied campus environments preferred.
• Knowledge of life safety regulations, ADA, and building systems.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, schedules, and documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital improvement projects from concept to occupancy and closeout.
• Develop campus improvement plans with executive leadership.
• Oversee design development, permitting, procurement, and implementation.
• Coordinate contractor and vendor activities on site.
• Ensure life safety compliance and regulatory approvals.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and committees.
