Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Driver in Concord, CA to transport residents and assist with activities, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. The role involves operating community vehicles, loading residents, and coordinating with staff to support a positive resident experience.

Requirements include a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, 21+ years old, and strong communication. Benefits include comprehensive health plans and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving vehicles transporting people.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass background check and health screening; TB tests may be required.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off community vehicles.
• Follow state and federal laws for vehicle operation.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings and in the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation across departments.
