Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skilled nursing billing experience is required.
• Proficiency with billing software and computer systems.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare billing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident billing and accounts receivable for assigned community.
• Generate, review, and distribute monthly resident statements.
• Post invoices, charges, payments, and billing adjustments accurately.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Participate in AR review meetings and recommend collection actions.
• Prepare accounts for collection agency submission when necessary.
• Verify insurance coverage and complete pre-authorizations for admissions.
• Maintain accurate census information including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure move-in documentation is complete and properly maintained.
