Job summary

Channing House in Palo Alto, CA is seeking an Administrator to lead resident-facing services across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. Reporting to the COO, you will ensure regulatory compliance and drive operational excellence in a not-for-profit Life Plan Community.

You will oversee Health Services and Wellness, guide campus expansions including Memory Care, manage budgets, and maintain strong relationships with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, gerontology, social services, or related field.
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum seven years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or related field; five years in senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and budget of Health Services and Wellness Services.
• Lead regulatory compliance across CMS, CDPH, CDSS, and other bodies.
• Launch and oversee Memory Care program and campus expansions.
• Ensure resident-centered service delivery across all levels of living.
• Supervise multiple departments and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
