Job summary

Social Row Transitional Care seeks an hourly Activities Aide to assist the Activity Director in the ongoing activity program for residents. The role includes leading group and 1:1 activities, planning and updating the activity calendar, and promoting participation while ensuring resident confidentiality.

The position requires strong communication, mobility, and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to work with diverse residents and staff across levels of authority.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified activities professional.
• Strong communication skills (including spelling and English grammar).
• Ability to relate to residents, families and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities for large/small groups and 1:1 sessions.
• Assist in planning and developing resident activity programs.
• Assist in creating and implementing the activity calendar.
• Maintain a warm, engaging atmosphere to encourage participation.
• Refer complaints to the administrator with actions taken.
