Job summary

Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Living Center in North Carolina is seeking an energetic Activity Aide to join our care-focused team. This part-time role offers flexibility with some evenings and weekends, and a chance to bring joy to our residents.

You will lead and assist with daily activities, plan events, create promotional materials, and work with the Activities Director to enhance resident well-being. A friendly, patient, and creative attitude is essential to help seniors stay engaged and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous Activity Aide experience preferred.
Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Creative, dependable, patient, and compassionate.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead and assist with daily activities that promote socialization, creativity, and resident well-being.
Assist with planning and organizing activities, special events, and celebrations.
Create flyers, activity calendars, and other materials.
Assist with shopping for supplies and preparing for scheduled activities.
Encourage resident participation and interact with residents, families, and visitors.
Work closely with the Activities Director and other team members.
