Job summary

Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Living Center in North Carolina is seeking an energetic, compassionate Activity Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on creating fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for our residents and involves a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

You will lead activities, assist with planning events, create flyers and calendars, and collaborate with the Activities Director to support socialization and well-being for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous Activity Aide experience preferred.
• Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Creative, dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with daily activities that promote socialization, creativity, and resident well-being.
• Assist with planning and organizing activities, special events, and celebrations.
• Create flyers, activity calendars, and other materials.
• Assist with shopping for supplies and preparing for scheduled activities.
• Encourage resident participation and interact with residents, families, and visitors.
• Work closely with the Activities Director and other team members.
