Job summary

Talentify in Rhode Island is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of patients and residents through engaging recreation activities. You will plan, organize and implement programs addressing physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities include inputting into monthly recreation therapy design, documenting attendance, and attending care plan meetings as needed. A high school diploma and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities meeting residents' physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation therapy services.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation levels at recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
