Job summary

The Carlotta, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hiring an Activity Assistant in Irvine-based operations serving California communities including Palm Desert. You will organize engaging activities, promote resident participation, and coordinate volunteers while ensuring safety and high-quality social experiences for residents.

Ideal candidates will have 18+, a HS diploma, and a year of senior activities coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires Class C license, preferably Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and MS Office programs.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB.
• Vaccination and health protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, scheduling, promoting, and directing activities and excursions.
• Develop, recruit, manage, and schedule community volunteers.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
