Ivy Living’s The Ivy Blue Oaks in Roseville, CA, is hiring an Activity Assistant for a full-time schedule (Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM). The role focuses on organizing activities to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life, with full benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma, and ideally 1 year coordinating activities for seniors. Proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing engaging social activities and promote resident participation.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively and with friendliness to residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
