Buckner Retirement Services Community: Westminster Place in Longview, TX is seeking a Lifestyle Associate for a part-time onsite role. You will plan and coordinate engaging programs to support residents’ social, spiritual, physical, and recreational well-being, delivering compassionate care and hospitality.

The role requires high school diploma, ability to communicate in English, and comfort coordinating activities with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) is required; prior related wellness/recreational experience is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of aging and senior living needs.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to organize activities and collaborate with other departments.
• Strong customer service and resident communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate engaging programs and events to support residents’ wellbeing.
• Develop activities based on residents’ needs and preferences for social, educational, recreational, and spiritual engagement.
• Survey residents to determine interests and satisfaction with community programs.
• Provide individualized attention to promote residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to events outside the residence.
• Maintain clear communications about planned activities through newsletters and meetings.
