Job summary

Lexington Country Place, part of Phoenix Senior Living, is seeking an Assistant Program and Outreach Director to support resident-centered activities and wellness across emotional, social, physical, and intellectual dimensions.

You will coordinate daily activities, lead volunteers, assist residents to activities, document changes, and maintain activity spaces under supervision of the Program and Outreach Director.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and fellow associates for involvement in social events.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; job-related experience preferred in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Refer to the Resident Profile and addendum for every new resident.
• Facilitate a variety of activities incorporating all dimensions of wellness throughout the day and evening.
• Assist residents to and from activity rooms; support engagement in Life Skills and related activities.
• Document pertinent information and changes in residents' condition in communication logs.
• Maintain activity areas in an orderly manner and manage supplies inventory.
