Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a friendly Activities Assistant to join our team. You will plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for residents, helping to create a vibrant and supportive environment.

This part-time role offers hourly pay of $16.00 to $17.00, with benefits including PTO, flexible schedule, on-the-job training, EAP, and free parking. Experience with seniors is a plus, and you will work with a collaborative care team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Physical fitness to assist with activities and mobility support.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience with seniors or disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging recreational activities for residents or participants.
• Maintain a clean, organized activities area and van.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during activities.
• Collaborate with team to create a positive environment.
• Keep accurate records of activities attendance.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas.
