Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Corporation's Heritage facility in Framingham, MA is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning and running engaging programs for residents, including educational, recreational, social and spiritual activities. This full-time role requires interaction with residents, families and staff, and includes every-other weekend rotation.

Per diem hours may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have patience and tact in dealing with residents, their family members, and staff.
• Must possess genuine concern for and ability to work with the elderly and with elderly who have memory loss and mental impairment.
• Must demonstrate overall positive image and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and running activities and events to enhance residents' living experience and quality of life.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, visitors and staff across the community.
• Support all aspects of the community under direction of the Activity Director.
