Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Recreational Aide to create engaging activities that promote residents’ well-being. This role offers a full-time day shift and daily pay with a starting rate of $16/hour.

You will work with a compassionate team to plan, implement, and document programs, while building meaningful relationships with residents and collaborating with inter-disciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in activities/healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment for residents.
• Document resident participation in activities.
• Plan and implement recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Build relationships and encourage participation.
• Escort and transport residents to activities.
