Tutera Senior Living and Health Care in Columbus, NE is seeking an Activities Director to plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive activities program tailored to residents’ social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs in line with the resident care plan.

Qualifications

• Fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet residents’ social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs per the resident care plan.
