Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Activities Director to create, plan and implement a comprehensive activities program for residents. You will ensure activities meet social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical needs in alignment with each resident’s care plan.

The role requires a passion for seniors, a flexible and energetic personality, and strong written and verbal communication to engage residents and collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area; licensed or registered.
• Minimum 1 year as an Activities Director in LTC/SNF/AL/MC.
• 2 years in social/recreational programs, 1 full-time in healthcare.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Passion for working with seniors and a compassionate, energetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement a program of activity and leisure pursuits for residents.
• Meet social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs per care plans.
