Job summary

Sycamore Manor, operated by Tutera Senior Living & Health Care, seeks an Activities Director to plan and run engaging programs for residents at our Terre Haute community. This role emphasizes social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical activities aligned with the resident care plan.

You will lead, coordinate, and participate in activity programs, ensuring a warm, professional environment with excellent resident interaction.

Qualifications

• Fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area; should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing.
• Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
