Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in New York State seeks an Interim Lifestyle Director to develop and manage engaging activities for residents in Assisted Living and Reflections programs. You will plan monthly events, coordinate outings, and foster leadership within community groups, while coordinating resident funds and communications.

The role requires experience with older adults, a related degree, and First Aid certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field.
Minimum of four years developing a social activities program for older adults.
Experience working with older adults.
CDL license or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain activities programs for Assisted Living Residents and Reflections Program Residents.
Plan a monthly calendar of events for Residents addressing social, emotional, educational and recreational needs.
Coordinate transportation for all special trips and manage resident monies.
Supervise and manage Programming Department staff, including interviews, coaching and evaluations.
Interview new Residents, provide orientation and welcome baskets.
