Christian Care Communities in Hopkinsville, KY, seeks an Activities Assistant to provide engaging programs for residents, coordinate with the Activity Director, and support spiritual and social wellbeing. Responsibilities include planning events, arranging transportation, assisting room-bound residents, and maintaining accurate activity charts.

The role emphasizes customer service, collaboration with Chaplain, and adherence to regulatory standards within a faith-based, non-profit senior care

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a 2-year college or technical.
• 1 year related experience.
• 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a health care setting.
• Experience in a resident activity program in a health care setting.
• Certified Nurse Aid certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, scheduling, conducting and supervising activities for residents.
• Assist the Activity Director with facility planning and resident needs.
• Encourage residents' religious participation; coordinate with Chaplain.
• Arrange transportation to outside events.
• Plan activities for room-bound residents and assist with letters, errands.
• Encourage participation in activities.
• Understand and apply the RAI system (MDS 3.0, CAA, RAI guidelines).
• Ensure proper charting of activity forms and assessments.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, staff, and vendors.
