Evergreen Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Stafford Springs, CT seeks an Activities Assistant to plan and run recreational and therapeutic activities for residents. You will collaborate with the Activities Director to create a monthly calendar and provide one-on-one support as needed.

Formación

• Experience in a Long-Term Care or senior living setting preferred but not required; training provided.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Interest in therapeutic activities for the aged.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing activities for residents.
• Engage residents in arts and crafts, games, music, and other programs.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop a monthly activities calendar.
• Provide one-on-one support for residents needing extra help.
• Foster community and social interaction among residents.
• Document and maintain records of participation in activities.
