Job summary

Wallick Senior Living in Columbus, OH seeks an Activities Assistant to plan activities, exercise programs, events and outings for residents, while maintaining confidentiality of personnel and medical files.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desirable.
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living community is a plus.
• Must be organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers and families.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, exercise programs, events and outings for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel and medical file information.
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Report issues to Activities Director or charge nurse.
• Perform administrative requirements and related duties.
