Job summary

The Village at LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant to energize daily life for residents in assisted living. This full-time day-shift role supports engagement and coordination with the Resident Engagement Director to plan and track activities and events.

You will be knowledgeable about each resident's assessment and service plan, and you will coordinate programs with volunteers while demonstrating sensitivity to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Must pass and complete the DHS RA certification.
• Must maintain a certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Must complete annual training as required by current regulations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Suggest activities to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, occupational, and social needs of residents.
• Assist Resident Engagement Director in posting monthly and daily Engagement calendar of regular and special events.
• Be knowledgeable of each resident's assessment and service plan.
• Coordinate and facilitate programs with volunteers when necessary.
• Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families.

Education

High school diploma or GED

DHS RA certification

First Aid and CPR certification

Annual training as required by current regulations
