Job summary

Integrated Real Estate Group is seeking an Activities Assistant for Watermere at Firewheel in Garland, TX. The role supports planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, monitoring resident involvement, documenting progress, and referring needs to social services as required. Must be friendly, patient, and able to read, write, and speak English.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a current Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrate patience, tact and courtesy in resident interactions.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate activity programs for residents.
• Observe mood and involvement; document progress and adapt plans.
• Participate in community planning and volunteer activity assignments.
• Ensure progress notes are descriptive and report outcomes.
• Refer residents to social services when needed.
• Encourage hobbies and crafts; support one-on-one resident visits.
