Job summary

Wallick Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan and coordinate activities for residents at Meadow Valley Senior Living. The role emphasizes engaging residents in programs, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with the Activities Director and nursing staff.

Ideal candidates are organized, self-motivated, with good communication skills and a valid driver’s license; prior assisted living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in assisted living or senior care is a plus.
• Must be organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families and staff.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, exercise programs, events and outings for all residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel and medical information.
• Motivate residents to participate in activities.
• Report any issues to the Activities Director or charge nurse.
• Perform administrative requirements and submit to the Activities Director.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
