Job summary

Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks an Activities Program Assistant to enhance resident well-being through physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional activities. You will tailor therapeutic and recreational programs with the Programming team to fit residents' needs and interests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with geriatric population or related fields.
• Experience as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying physical and cognitive independence preferred.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings, required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents.
• Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with team, management and volunteers to deliver engaging activities.
• Monitor changes in residents’ needs and report to Programming Manager.
• Manage program supplies and equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Lead and set up activities; motivate and assist participants.
