Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with older adults or in long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Activity Director to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational activities.
• Encourage and assist residents in participating in group and individual activities.
• Prepare activity spaces, including setup and cleanup.
• Support coordination and execution of special events and outings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and engagement.
• Assist with maintenance of activity supplies and equipment.
• Conduct one-on-one visits with residents unable to join group activities.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of activity programming.
• Attend mandatory in-service training sessions and staff meetings.
