Dial Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Assistant to join our lifestyle team. You will create and lead diverse resident activities, foster an engaging community, and support outings and events throughout the week.

The role requires interaction across departments and a focus on resident well-being. Ability to assist residents with mobility, work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, and maintain confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and leading activities in physical, social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, religious, service/volunteering, and special requests.
• Lead group activities while encouraging resident participation and building positive relationships.
• Document resident engagement daily in LifeLoop and track engagement trends.
• Coordinate community outings, events, and special celebrations as a chaperone.
• Get to know residents and tailor activities to their preferences.
• Assist with decorating the facility for events, seasons, and holidays.
• Invite and remind residents to participate in planned activities and help them get to activities.
• Support social media content creation and posting for the community.
• Drive the company vehicle for activities and appointments, as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experiences.
• Identify and requisition needed supplies for planned activities.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Other duties as assigned.
