Job summary

CIEL GERMANTOWN LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and coordinate engaging activities for residents. You will develop programs addressing physical, social, intellectual, and artistic needs within the community.

The role includes recruiting volunteers, training staff, and organizing daily calendars and special events. Weekend/evening availability is required, with support for resident feedback and transport arrangements as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and coordinating activities for older adults.
• Ability to supervise, lead, and motivate people.
• Able to delegate while maintaining oversight of daily activities and projects.
• Experience recruiting and training volunteers preferred.
• Must work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteer members and staff involvement in activities.
• Attend trainings and keep LMS records up to date.
• Coordinate daily/monthly activity calendars with dates, times, and locations.
• Plan and host special events, including holiday activities and decorating.
• Provide resident feedback to leadership for service improvements.
• Arrange transportation for activities and outings as needed.
• Maintain activity supplies within budget guidelines.
• Support residents in engaging with community centers and service projects.
