Job summary

The Pavilion at Kenton in Covington, KY, seeks an Activities Assistant to help plan and run recreational, social, and spiritual programs for residents. You will assist the Activities Director in creating calendars, coordinating transport, and supporting one‑on‑one activities, while documenting attendance and resident responses.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreational, social, intellectual and spiritual programs for residents.
• Create a monthly activity calendar and place it in a visible location.
• Coordinate transportation and assist residents to activity locations.
• Conduct one-on-one activities for residents who prefer in-room programs.
• Document attendance and resident responses in progress notes.
• Observe mood and involvement; report changes to the Activities Director.
• Involve residents and families in planning activities when possible.
• Arrange offsite field trips and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Assist with Resident/Family Council meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
