Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in long-term care, senior living, or recreation is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays.
• Ability to push, pull, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting daily group and one-on-one activities
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Set up and clean up activity areas and materials
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed
• Document resident participation and progress
• Support special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff
