Pleasant View Communities in Manheim, PA is seeking a Healthcare Activities Assistant who is passionate about enriching the lives of residents in a 34-bed LTC unit. You will implement recreational programs and help build a warm, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or activity-related certification preferred.
• Desire to work with the senior population.
• Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety.
• Dementia care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of recreational programs.
• Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance.
• Clinical paperwork (care plans, assessments, progress notes).
• Calendar creation/prep and implementation of structured activities for a 34 bed LTC unit.
• Assist with supervision, training, and overseeing activity staff.
