Job summary

MorningStar of Longmont is seeking an Activities Assistant/Driver to support resident programs in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. This full-time, on-site role includes developing activity plans, coordinating events, and assisting residents with transportation as needed.

You will work closely with the Life Enrichment team to create engaging, person-centered calendars and ensure activities run smoothly across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills with residents and families.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive company vehicles when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing activity programs for residents across living options.
• Facilitate group activities, 1-1 visits, and community events.
• Coordinate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Communicate residents' programs to families, volunteers, and staff.
• Prepare monthly Life Enrichment calendars reflecting resident interests.
• Organize supplies and equipment for activities.
• Assist with outings and driving when required.
• Demonstrate core values and maintain confidentiality.
