Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Bankers Hill is seeking an Active Living Assistant/Driver to support residents in our senior living community. This position involves developing activities, leading programs, and coordinating family events while maintaining a compassionate, professional demeanor in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• One to two years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Social activity involvement preferred.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Active Living Program Director to design and implement activities for residents transitioning from AL to Memory Care.
• Deliver, lead, or conduct program activities in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate at least one family activity per month.
• Present a professional demeanor reflecting service philosophy and genuine interest in residents' needs.
• Observe residents' daily ADLs and communicate potential difficulties to the team.
• Encourage and motivate residents in all areas and assist when necessary.
• Participate in all employer-provided training.
• Assume duties of Activities staff in their absence.
