Montefiore Einstein Transplant Center - Senior Liver Transplant Surgeon

Montefiore Einstein Transplant Center is seeking a senior liver transplant surgeon to join our busy liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgery program. The ideal candidate would qualify as the UNOS liver transplant surgical director.

About Montefiore Health System

Montefiore Health System is a large university-based healthcare system in New York, comprising three tertiary care hospitals, a Children's Hospital, multiple regional affiliates, and clinics. Our Center of Excellence includes programs for adult and pediatric liver, kidney, pancreas, lung, heart transplants, and live donor procedures. Our liver transplant program is innovative, utilizing advanced perfusion devices, split liver grafts, and hepatobiliary surgery.

Team and Facilities

The program features a robust hepatology practice with nine transplant hepatologists, fellows in hepatology and transplant surgery, and a dedicated liver medicine service. The team includes transplant PAs, NPs, and clinic staff. We collaborate with Montefiore's Comprehensive Cancer Center on liver cancer treatments. Our surgical division performs a high volume of hepatobiliary surgeries.

Faculty appointment and rank will be commensurate with achievements.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $400,000 - $700,000, with productivity incentives, paid malpractice, CME stipend, retirement plans, and comprehensive health benefits.
