This strategic leadership role requires deep expertise in motor vehicle, trucking, employment law, and sensitive cases, with the ability to reverse-engineer cases from jury charges.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of heavy plaintiff-side litigation, expert drafting skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy litigation experience on the Plaintiff side (Personal Injury required; Employment Law is a major plus).
• Superior drafting ability with a deep understanding of Texas law and Federal court procedures.
• Proactive problem-solver who can see the finish line at trial, not just the next filing.
• On-site in Irving, TX, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Case Architecture: identify essential case elements from jury charges and build petitions, complaints, and discovery plans.
• Custom Discovery Management: draft and respond to complex discovery requests without boilerplate templates.
• Team Leadership: mentor and QC for offshore paralegal support.
• Advanced Motion Practice: draft motions to compel and other key filings.
• High-Stakes Trial Support: coordinate trial binders and evidentiary needs for state and federal court.
• Deadline Oversight: manage litigation calendar to avoid missed deadlines.
