Qualifications

• 4-12 years’ experience performing traditional litigation paralegal functions.
• In-person trial support and experience is required.
• Proficient with computerized legal research and document retention databases.
• Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex documents and assist with case workflow coordination.
• Assist in all phases of discovery, including fact gathering and analysis of documents, productions, and depositions.
• Maintain and organize electronic case files for prompt access by the team.
• Coordinate court and agency filings, pleadings, briefs, and proper service.
• Assist with trial preparation, including trial notebooks and witness schedules.
• Coordinate, review, and maintain project status tracking for matters.
• Conduct factual and some legal research to support attorney projects.
• Assist with document searches and analysis using Relativity and Opus 2.
• Proofread briefs and other legal documents and liaise with clients and witnesses.
